I will soon have a new hand to hold..
I will soon have a new hand to hold, mummy and daddy, a new life to mold! Someone to bully love :).
After the long wait, and watching mummy’s stomach evolve from how an ordinary tummy appears after one has had loads and loads of pizza to the size of a pumpkin, wait, two pumpkins at the very least, I’m so excited to announce that very soon I’ll be a big sister!!

I don’t understand how this soon to be playmate of mine got themselves in that situation, I mean, who in their right mind would want to live in a stomach? He she it has no idea how much it’s missing out here! Only advantage is that it doesn’t get scolded at all for being a little rascal which is something I could do with. This kiddo gets away with kicking mummy relentlessly and apparently it’s also the cause of the excruciating back pains that mummy gets every so often. And yet, even when I try as much as raise my voice (just so that it can hear me from inside there) asking it to behave itself, I am told that it’s the circumstances that causes it to kick so hard, never intentionally wanting to hurt mummy, and so I should be kind to it.
Writing this piece without having to disclose the gender is quite an uphill task, so I’ll get to the bottom of it. I have been tasked with coming up with a name for my sibling and I need your help. You guys are always writing lovely things on my social media pages and on the blog, so now it’s time to test how deep our friendship is! Aha! I can already see some of you shutting down their laptops and others clicking the unfollow buttons but wait! I’ve got a little motivation for you. See, I don’t know what mummy and grandma were thinking when they named me Xena, a name I am yet to find anyone else having. Don’t get it twisted, I love my name. It’s unique and was coined by the Greeks to mean “friendly and hospitable”, and was also the protagonist of a series and various TV shows which had her as a “warrior princess”. Now you know where I get my resilience 🙂
Back to my plea for help. I need an equally unique name for my sibling, preferably one that starts with the letter X, but not mandatory, with a relevant meaning (very important!). You will need to get the gender right in order to come up with an appropriate name, though I know there are so many unisex names out there. The winning name will get our first giveaway ever! Name suggestions and their meanings should be placed in the comment section of this post to qualify. I can already see some of you switching to google and getting on with it :). Best of luck everyone!
