Lilmissbelle 12 Days of Christmas

Day 2: Toto Wraps

December 12, 2017

My kids have been quite independent right from birth, in the sense that except for the few days they suffered from colic, they did not need to be constantly swayed or carried on the back. Nonetheless, there have been many moments when I wished I was an octopus to be able to effortlessly juggle the many balls that any mother is often faced with. Moments such as doing the monthly shopping (previously at Nakumatt Junction and now at Carrefour, The Hub) with both toddlers in tow, an exercise which always finds me roaming the aisles for no less than two hours.

With only room for one, it gets frustrating when both kids want to ride on the trolley. As such, I always have to have my baby carrier from Toto Wraps with me and snuggle the younger one just to save me the headache. Besides shopping, traipsing the malls can be a nightmare when both kids decide to run off in different directions leaving me wondering who to follow and who to trust that they will find me!

My undisputed best Toto Wraps moment however has to be whenever I am travelling with my kids. There’s once I went to the coast with both of them and had to drag two suitcases while ensuring that they stayed close to me. I recounted my experience about how life saving the baby carrier was for me at the airport, during the vacay and also on our way back. Check out the post over here. I have had a carrier since Xia was six months old yet at two years and three months, it is still as gentle on the skin, as firm and as sturdy as it was then.

Today will be an errand packed day for my kids and I. We have a brunch shoot at 10.00am and afterwards, we will head to The Hub for the household shopping. I honestly don’t know how I would survive without a Toto Wraps baby carrier. If you would love to win one, please leave a comment below. Tell us how old your child (or the child who you wish to get it for) is and why you believe they deserve it more than the rest. It doesn’t have to be a sad story, even a funny one or a corny one will do. You guys have been really crushing my heart with such devastating stories so no sad stories today! Also, make sure you are subscribed to my blog and that you follow both my Instagram account and that Toto Wraps’ Instagram account to be eligible to win.

If you participated in yesterday’s giveaway, check the comments section to find out if you are the winner. I have already posted the winner much as I promised to do it at 4:00pm today. Today’s winner will be announced in the comment section of this post tomorrow morning and that will be the trend for the next ten giveaways.

Happy Jamhuri day to all my readers in Kenya.

Oh my.what a great opportunity. I have been dreaming of getting a toto wrap for my 1year old daughter who is 11.5kgs to rid me of the daily leso trouble I go through carrying her.For her to take a nap (twice a day) or sleep when it’s bed time I have to carry her and walk around .I do most house work with her on my back from cooking, washing clothes, going to the shop, checking on grandma etc since she crawls really fast and can make a mess or be in danger in a matter of a minute.Reminds me this morning she… Read more »

My sons are 4yr old and 4months old, I bought a baby carrier but its so uncomfortable my 4month old is over 9kgs and can’t fit well. I don’t long for Sundays (church days) and shopping days cos moving around with them especially without company is so hectic. Toto wrap will be my life saver I will appreciate the gift

Being a stay at home mom to a toddler can be sometimes handsfull.my little one is 18months and she can never let me do my house chores without wanting to be held.our previous baby carrier become to tight for her so she would cry all the time when she was on it. I can’t do any grocery shopping because she’s always in my hands. The toto wrap baby carrier would really come in handy because I can kill two birds with one stone :p(run my errands peacefully while bonding with my baby)

Hi! My baby will be 18 months on Dec 19. She is quite the pum-pum and I am quite skinny. My arms flail a lot when I carry her. So, most times I use a leso which is very tight and uncomfortable at the chest. This one time it squeezed milk from my boobs. ??? I also have to hold her bum and bend a little when walking because I dread her slipping from the leso. Quite a task I tell you. Winning this toto wrap will be quite a delight for us as we travel to shagz this Christmas.… Read more »

Hey Joy. Finally done with my project and can comfortably hang around here and comment and catch up with you on your travels. Glad you’re back with us. Have you decided to lock your hair?? About your toto wraps, hehehehehe I have no kids of my own, at least not yet. But I would love to get it for a friend, ivy Mugo who’s kid just turned 1.
