The month that was..

October was truly an awesome month and it just hit me how fast it went by. I mean, as I was thinking of the achievements/accomplishments/celebrations to list down, the first one that came to mind was the epic entrance of my sister to this world then it hit me, wait a minute, she was born on September 19th! Feels like just the other day. Anyway, my point is, we only have 51 days left to Christmas and that just shows you how fast days are moving. Therefore, be sure to make the best of every second you have, especially every second of good health.

Looking back, we got our third major partnership since launching this blog, five months later. I must say that I have never had so much fun shooting as I did for the curls post here, as evidenced by the fact that I was all smiles in almost all photos. Obviously because it was all about what every girl/woman loves, some pampering at the salon, but also, I am growing to love this new-found hobby more each passing day. Which is really is a blessing I must add.
We had midterm for a whole week unlike my previous school where it was more like an extended weekend, i.e. Friday till Monday. Previously, I would have harassed my folks about wanting to go back to school but not with my small sister around. Let’s just say she brings me endless joy. Think about having a live teddy bear then you will understand what I am all about.
I got to go on a road trip after a looooonggggg time (felt like ages believe me) to one of the most beautiful places in Kenya, which I shall be blogging about this week so be on the lookout.
Mummy and I finally established a blogging schedule. If you haven’t noticed, we publish our posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays/or Fridays. Now that I have put it out there, I suddenly feel the pressure to deliver as I know you guys will be expecting something on those days. But what is life without pressure?
Noticeably, thanks to a firm routine, we had the most posts in any given month (check the side bar of the front page) and better yet, the posts kept getting better as confirmed by the positive feedback from you guys, and also that feeling you get when you know this has got to be your best work yet. Talk about achieving great quality and quantity at one go!
Looking forward to savoring every single moment that November has in store for us. I have a feeling we will be toasting to even greater things come the end of the month!
Love, Lil’missbelle.
